Al's silly hair

Ok in the past we've harshed on Al Pacino, but it's mainly because him and his ridiculous hair are not doing films like Dog Day Afternoon anymore. Released this week on special-edition DVD, Al Pacino is supreme in this bank robbery-gone-wrong film. And while we agree with LubedPumpkin from the IMDb message board that "AIRHEADS ripped off this movie!!", right now we're more concerned with how Spike Lee's upcoming Inside Man will fare in this micro-genre. And if he fails (which would be a shame since he has Denzel Washington, Clive Owens, Jodie Foster, Willem Dafoe, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Christopher Plummer and James "Ziggy" Ransome in his arsenal) we'll just content ourselves with whatever tidbits on John Cazale that director Sidney Lumet has to offer in the commentary
